And he works and he builds with his own two hands
And he pours all he has in a castle made with sand
But the wind and the rain are comin' crashing in...
Time will tell just how long
his kingdom stands

Call  To die: Reading this lovely book that Danny VV has just given me. Now I am fasting from all internet, music etc. for the next 40 days... see you then

these weeks have been flying by at pod racing speed. The young republicans trips was a great time... everyone got all dressed up to meet Rick Santorum and he wasn't even there. I got a laugh out of that because of course I slacked off and dressed down. I pretty much just walked around Washington with Mandi all by ourselves, my mother nearly fainted. I also experienced MJ's for the first time, and it was an exceptional time. I looked into the girls bathroom to see what was taking Margo and Annabelle so long and I heard Star Wars in the backround..... so I just ran in... I am a terrible year book signer, I need lessons. Also even though we had the worst one act imaginable we pulled it off ok ( and with only 4 practices). Tomorrow I go and see Episode III and I can't wait because this looks like the best Star Wars movie ever. Anyway, my freshmen year is now coming to its conclusion, and it is really hard to believe....  Alright now

I believe one acts are this Thursday??? Yikes!! Alright reallly time for bed, I am dreading school tomorrow.. By the way, I am about to start reading 40 days of purpose, anyone want to join me or some others? Just give me a ring, a comment, whatever.

Sorry about this, but I must rant.......... All in love

Absolute truth" is defined as inflexible reality: fixed, invariable, unalterable facts. For example, it is a fixed, invariable, unalterable fact that there are absolutely no square circles and there are absolutely no round squares. This is saying there is either a right or wrong way.

"There are no absolutes." First of all, that statement is declaring there are absolutely no absolutes. That is an absolute statement. The statement is logically contradictory. If the statement is true, there is, in fact, an absolute - there are absolutely no absolutes.
You can't logically argue against the existence of absolute truth. To argue against something is to establish that a truth exists. You cannot argue against absolute truth unless an absolute truth is the basis of your argument"Who knows what the truth is, right?" In the same sentence the speaker declares that no one knows what the truth is, then he turns around and asks those who are listening to affirm the truth of his statement.

Truth is relative." Again, this is an absolute statement implying truth is absolutely relative. Besides positing an absolute, suppose the statement was true and "truth is relative." Everything including that statement would be relative. If a statement is relative, it is not always true. If "truth is relative" is not always true, sometimes truth is not relative. This means there are absolutes, which means the above statement is false. When you follow the logic, relativist arguments will always contradict themselves.

It could be my truth to be completely against someone who is gay. ( Which I am absolutely not, mind you.) Another belief that I could hold to be true is that I should kill people who are gay. If I did this and I were to be caught, I would be hailed as a criminal a person who is against mankind, a bigot. However if there is no absolute truth, then aren’t my rights to believing in whatever truth I want to have being infringed on? Because then, wouldn’t the person charging me be the narrow minded bigot? I could argue "how dare they try to tell me what is true, I know what is true, I have decided that for myself." With an absence of truth the human mind begins to decay, and it becomes easy for leaders and dictators like Hitler to arise. Through this people are "silenced" by hate and what someone else believes. Isn’t this what our day of silence at school was all about? People can impose whatever they want on someone else, and who are we to contradict them, Unless there is real truth. Love you all

"I am the way the TRUTH and the Light."

Truth.  I guess this is something that I have been infatuated with and has dominated my topic of  discussion this past week. Had a wonderful discussion on the bus ride home, I live for conversations like that. Why have we talked about truth so much, and what is the point to it? It because no matter what I am bombarded with and faced against, this voice of truth says something completely different, causes me to live differently and think differently. Because it is so unique but so satisfying, is that why I can rant to you the way I did and become consumed the way that I am? More time to think, more time to dicuss, it was amazing.

"I am the way, the TRUTH and the light." I rest in these words
